When I was in my country, I didn’t know anything about U.S. Many people don’t know that U.S has many opportunities. When I came to the United States, I didn’t know that English is the official language. I’m learning English because of advantages in my lifestyle, jobs and communication.
First of all, learning English is necessary in my lifestyle. When I’m going to the supermarket, I can’t find anything because I don’t read English. I should ask to someone who speaks Spanish. This is why I’m learning English in Pccc.
Second, learning English is very important to find jobs, I went to many job’s interviews and everyone spoke in English and didn’t understand them. As a result, I didn’t get a job, I decided to learn English.
I hope that writing on your blog and interacting with others on their blogs will help you become fluent in English. Learning a new culture and a new language is a courageous task!
